Office Woodwork
Project Brief.
What a fun project this was, working with our client Jeffery Van Inwegen, MD for his practice NJREC and Quality Optical in Ramsey New Jersey. Having constructed a new building and wanting to bring more character to their space, he already had good vision and direction for the project at our first meeting. We provided some additional insight and options for the finish. Ultimately coming up with a package that delivered on creating a inviting space, having scale and flow with a touch of wow factor. For the waiting room and down the hallways we went with Sapele Mahogany, this rich and warm wood just draws you in with it’s natural tone and grain. We also used the Sapele for the panel work on the reception desk, using a layout to introduce height. The vertical appearance also flowed with the wall paper used on the lower portion of the walls. For the office and diagnostic rooms we utilized the same profiles but went to paint grade wood.
Kehoe Kustom LLC provided expert architectural woodwooking services for our new medical office space, including mohogany wainscot reception desk, window casings, chair rail and base mouldings; as well as all window framing, wood shelving and countertops throughout the offices.
The workmanship was meticulous and the end product was outstanding. Throughout the project, the work was done on schedule and according to quotes, with great attention to detail. The cost of the overall project was fair, and the end result was better than we could have imagined. Our office space will now reflect our professionalism and attention to detail, thanks to Kehoe Kustom. We highly recommend their services without reservation. Thanks!
